Rhaume Laliberté Sensei, 4th dan
Senshi (先師) and founder of the
Yōseikan Aikidō School of Gatineau

Rheaume Laliberté Sensei began his study of Aikidō in September 1978 at the Collège de l’Outaouais in Hull under the guidance of Patrick Augé Sensei. He later completed his training at the Academy of Martial Arts Yoseikan in Ottawa.

He also practiced judo, beginning in 1967 in Rouyn-Noranda with Gaby Pinto Sensei. In addition to his martial arts training, he studied social sciences and received first aid certification.

He taught at the Collège de l’Outaouais and at the Academy of Martial Arts Yoseikan, sharing the values of Budō with dedication and humility. In September 2000, he founded the Yōseikan Aikidō School of Gatineau, which continues to carry forward his legacy.
